Life is a Special Occasion: Hallmark

I was always a big card buyer…for all the right occasions. This was a habit learned from my mom. I will admit that the internet and things like Facebook and ‘e-cards’ have made me a bit lazier nowadays and I tend to like the kids to MAKE cards too.

But.  Hallmark has always been my go-to store not only for cards but for last minute gifts that I totally forgot about.

Hallmark wants Canadians to remember that in the rush and bustle of life sometimes you have to “press pause” and celebrate the moments before they pass by.

Hallmark has sent me a package of seasonal and year long gift ideas for those people you cherish.   I hope these will give you some ideas for celebrating Easter and – of course – Mothers Day!!

Tara’s favorite is the TOTALLY TICKLISH DUCK.    She sings a song…BUT you can tickle her till she can’t take it and laughs and laughs.  This is a big hit.

The next big hit here was WATSON the RACCOON.  Watson reacts to different sounds and phrases when you read his book aloud.  Caitlyn as a new reader, LOVES this.

I can’t help but thank Hallmark for the beautiful MEMORY KEEPING PHOTO FRAME.  This will be a Mother’s Day gift and am planning the right family photo and what we can all say.

We are also totally excited about the gorgeous MOM & ME recordable conversation book.    Again, Caitlyn LOVES things like this and we have had fun reading and recording together.

If your children love Mickey Mouse – like Tara does – the EASTER WEB CAM GREETING CARDS are lots of fun.  This one sings the Mickey Mouse Club song and Tara has been dancing to it over and over and over and over!
